Expedited contracting, done right.
One application. One process. Direct contracts with the carriers that actually fit your book — at the best available commissions, with no fees and no commission split.
Why agents pick IRG
A faster path to appointed.
We've streamlined contracting so you spend less time on paperwork and more time writing business. Here's exactly how it works.
Tell us about you
Send us your basic info — name, license, current appointments, and the carriers you want to write with. Takes 2 minutes.
Get matched — selectively
We don't believe in contracting agents with carriers they'll never write. Our team reviews your book and recommends only the carriers that genuinely fit — typically 5–10, not all 30.
One application, many carriers
We use a unified contracting packet that gets you appointed across multiple carriers in a single submission. No re-filling the same forms over and over.
Activate & start writing
Most appointments process in 3–5 business days. As each one activates, we notify you — and your agent portal updates automatically.
We're selective — in both directions.
More carrier appointments aren't always better. We won't contract you with carriers you'll never write, just to pad your appointment list. Our goal is to match you with the handful of carriers that genuinely fit your book — and to make sure the agents we work with are the right fit for IRG too.
Built for your business model.
Whether you're a solo producer or building a team, we have the right contract structure for you.
Producer Contract
For licensed agents writing their own business. Direct carrier appointments, best available commissions paid directly to you by the carrier.
BGA Contract
For agents recruiting and managing their own downline producers. Override commissions on team production, full BGA-level support.
A-rated carriers only.
Every carrier on our roster is rated A or higher by AM Best — chosen for financial strength, claims-paying ability, and a reputation for doing right by policyholders. 45+ carriers in total. Full roster shared once you're contracted.
Contracting is just the start.
When you contract through IRG, you don't just get carrier appointments. You get the full back-office that's powered our agents for four decades.

Contracting questions.
Does it cost anything to contract with IRG?
No. Contracting with IRG is completely free. We're paid by the carriers as an override on the business you write — and we never take a cut of your commission.
How long does the contracting process actually take?
Most agents are fully active and writing within 3–5 business days. Some carriers take longer to process appointments, but you can start writing with any carrier as soon as they confirm your appointment.
What commission level will I receive?
You'll receive the best available commission for your production level and licensing structure. Commissions are paid directly to you by the carrier — we never touch them.
Do I have to sell exclusively through IRG?
No. There's no exclusivity, no production minimums, and no commitment to leave existing relationships. Contract with us on the carriers where it helps, keep what you have where it doesn't.
What if I'm already appointed with some of these carriers?
That's completely fine. You can keep your existing appointments and add new ones through us — or transfer over the ones where IRG's support would benefit your business.
What's the difference between a Producer and BGA contract?
A Producer contract is for solo agents writing their own business. A BGA contract allows you to recruit sub-producers and earn overrides on their production. If you're not sure which is right for you, our contracting team will walk you through it.
Do you work with newer agents?
Absolutely. We support agents at every experience level — from new producers writing their first case to top-shelf MDRT and Top of the Table advisors. Our case design and underwriting support is especially valuable for newer agents.
